Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Housekeeping jobs in Canada
Perform various housekeeping duties tending to, freshening and cleaning the entirety of the rooms and bathrooms
- – via dusting, sanitizing, vacuuming; stocking fresh linens, towels, toiletries and bath supplies; removing garbage, glasses, coffee mugs, utensils, dining ware , and room service containers. Opens the door and windows to let in fresh air and ensures the central air is off. Once completely cleaned, seals the door with a sanitization sticker, to communicate and mark that the room has been completely cleaned and sanitized.
- Stock housekeeping carts, with clean linens, towels, toiletries, water, room supplies, cleaning supplies and keeps clean and organized.
- Handle all room cleaning in a timely manner in line with the standards and reports any issues that deviate from the standards schedule. Reports any issues or concerns to management and the reservations desk, as needed. Room maintenance issues should be reported for any broken items in the room noticed during the cleaning process.
- Answer any guests’ questions;is friendly and accommodating.
- Arrive to work dressed in a clean, pressed complete uniform with a nametag.
- Wear clean, proper footwear.
- Launder linens and towels, and stocks room supplies.

Compensation of Housekeeping jobs in Canada
