Job Description
Your role as a Material Handler will be crucial to our supply chain and logistics operations running smoothly. Throughout our facilities, moving items accurately and efficiently will be your main duty. This covers the collection, storing, packing, and delivery of different kinds of supplies and items.
You’ll be doing a variety of jobs, such as loading and unloading trucks and stocking storage spaces. Paying close attention to details is essential since you will be in charge of confirming that the amount and caliber of materials coming in and going out match purchase orders and shipping manifests.
For safe and effective material transportation, you’ll make use of material handling tools including pallet jacks, conveyor belts, and forklifts. To avoid workplace mishaps and injuries, adherence to safety regulations and operating standards is essential.
To manage material flow and adhere to production deadlines, coordination with other departments—such as shipping, production, and procurement—is crucial. Resolving any disagreements or problems that may come up during the material handling process will require clear communication and teamwork.
By performing routine cycle counts, resolving inventory discrepancies, and informing supervisors of inventory levels, you’ll also contribute to inventory management. Cost management and efficient inventory control will be aided by your ability to keep correct records and monitor material movements.
You might need to work in a variety of settings, such as production facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers, so being flexible and adaptable are important skills. The success of our operations as a whole will be largely dependent on your ability to collaborate with team members and adjust to shifting priorities.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for following work orders and/or verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand and using tow motor.
- Records daily material handling metrics
- Maintains inventory of packing materials and finished paper
- May assist with shipping or received as needed.
- All other duties as assigned
WORK EXPERIENCES
- 1-2 years in an industrial manufacturing environment required
- Prior forklift or tow motor experience preferred. Ability to be certified is required.
- Proven ability to successfully meet customer and management deadlines.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); equivalent experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
