The Production Operator focuses on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including: Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards •Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods •Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products •Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis and examines production materials for processing. Operates all equipment and processes. Monitors machine parameters and troubleshoots processing problems.

Packer Operator Required Experience:
- Graduation from high school or a comparable degree.
- It’s recommended if you have prior expertise with packing machines or packaging.
- experience with a variety of packing materials, including boxes, bags, and containers; knowledge of packaging supplies, tools, and techniques.
- Proficiency in adhering to comprehensive guidelines and operating both individually and collaboratively, guaranteeing that merchandise is accurately wrapped in compliance with requirements.
- To maintain consistency and quality, jobs should be completed with precision and attention to detail, including double-checking product counts, weights, and measures.
- Long-term standing and heavy lifting ability are necessary for packing since it may include handling big items and repeated duties.
- To operate packaging apparatus, including conveyor belts, sealing machines, and labeling equipment, and to handle items properly, one needs manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination effectively.
- Basic arithmetic abilities are necessary for precisely counting, weighing, and measuring materials. They are also necessary for estimating package amounts and modifying machine settings.
- Excellent communication abilities, especially the capacity to express ideas clearly and seek clarification when necessary, are essential for working well with teammates and superiors.

Physical Requirements for Packer Operator
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present
- Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime.
