- Develops and maintains company Security SOP’s and Work Practices.
- Communicates and provides training on same to others.
- Consults with company leadership to determine corporation and customer security needs.
- Recommends equipment and services and develops plans and budgets to provide needed security systems and services.
- Maintains records or and insures maintenance of all electronic systems.
- Supervises the contract security guard service.
- Coordinates guard training and job responsibilities and maintains needed level of performance.
- Represents the company for security system and physical security issues with the DEA; coordinates DEA issues with PCI Regulatory Affairs department.
- Maintains an appropriate relationship and communications with the Rockford Police Department, along with the Illinois State Police Cargo Theft Unit and the Pharmaceutical Cargo Security Coalition (PCSC) as needed Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
- Attendance to work is an essential function of this position Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and/or 7-10 years related experience and/or training.
- College Level Mathematical Skills
- Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs.
- Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
- Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables.
- Ability to coordinate and negotiate with suppliers of security equipment and services is required.

- Law Enforcement Management Experience
- Experience with the design, deployment and maintenance of key systems for large buildings
