Summary: Our Tack Up Welder welds short beads at points specified by layout, welding diagram, or by fitter along overlapping edges of metal parts to hold parts in place for final welding. Performs tasks of fitter helper. May also tack-weld using hand, gas-shielded arc welding equipment, or spotwelding gun.
Duties & Responsibilities of Tack Up Operator in Croatia:
Welding steel structural parts as specified per drawing or print.
Perform MIG welding process.
Select appropriate welding tools and equipment based on the job requirements.
Operating grinder to prepare and finish welds.
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Detect and correct defects in welds, such as porosity or incomplete penetration.
Perform maintenance, troubleshoot repairs, and detect flaws in equipment as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications of Tack Up Operator in Croatia:
Must be able to pass a 1G Limited Weld Test.
Prior experience in manufacturing/fabrication shop is preferred but not required
Ability to work with minimal supervision
